Disney Day 5 | Magic Kingdom with a Baby

Today was the day we’d push the limits.  Today was the day we’d do Magic Kingdom with a Baby!  The plan was rope drop til close… would we survive?

We arrived SUPER early to rope drop.  The girls walked around, ate, and played while we waited for the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show.  I love the welcome show.  It makes me cry every time.  So awesome.

Kora had Big Thunder Mountain Railroad on the mind.  That’s what she wanted to do first, so we headed straight there.  We were able to get on two times in a row with no wait at all.  And of course, got Rider Switch tickets to be used later.  We rode The Barnstormer twice without a wait and then Dumbo The Flying Elephant.

Next we headed to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.  Kinsley seems to enjoy it although perhaps not the scary part in the middle.  Or maybe she’s just confused?  Either way, her adorable squeals of delight end during that period.

We had Seven Dwarf Mine Train FastPass+ reservations to use again, so we did.  And we rode the Little Mermaid ride as well.  Kora and I also enjoyed a cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern.  That was quite delicious.

Lunch was at Cinderella’s Royal Table.  Since we had just eaten with the princesses the night before, I do have to admit that Kora wasn’t as thrilled as I feel like she should have been!  Ha!  But my food was amazing so I didn’t really care.  Kinsley still just liked Ariel.  Must be the red hair.

After lunch we rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train again and then  Alayna had said during lunch that she wanted to try Space Mountain.  Sadly, it was closed.  We went to secure seats for the Festival of Fantasy Parade instead.  We got pretty good seats on Main Street, USA and thoroughly enjoyed the parade.  The floats were beautiful and the music and tempo was very upbeat and fun.

After the parade, Space Mountain was back online, so we quickly headed over there.  But the wait was an HOUR!  So the group decided to do Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin while I waited outside with a sleeping baby.  While they were gone I made FastPass+ reservations.  They were gone for a LONG TIME!  The line ended up being 40 minutes long.  Anyone who has rode on Buzz knows that’s too long!  Especially since it’s usually a walk on for us!  Oh well.

We still had an hour and a half until the FastPass+ reservations opened up, so we danced at the #IncrediblesSuperDanceParty and then went on It’s A Small World.

Kinsley liked this ride and waved to every doll/animal.  That was cute and helped to not get the music stuck in my head!

FINALLY it was time for Space Mountain.  We got our Rider Switch ticket and started riding.  Kora LOVED it!!  She was so happy she could ride again… and again.  Crazy kid.

An hour of riding Space Mountain later, and we headed to get some dinner and line up for the Main Street Electrical Parade.  I love the electrical parade.  So beautiful!  But both of our girls were very overtired at this point so although I wanted to stay for Wishes, we just couldn’t.  We left the park while the projection show was on the castle and Kora was already soundly asleep in the stroller.  We had officially wore them out!
