Last week we talked about the cheapest time to go to Walt Disney World, but what about the most expensive? Today we’ll discuss the most expensive time to travel to Walt Disney World Resort.
The most expensive time to travel to Walt Disney World Resort is Christmas week. Resort prices are the highest starting Christmas Day and going until the New Year.
Next up, Easter. Obviously the dates around Easter changes every year, but for 2015, Walt Disney World Resort prices are the highest from March 29th-April 11th.
This next set of dates is often not thought of, but it’s SUPER crowded at the parks and the resort prices are just as high as Easter. Any guesses what holiday I’m talking about? It’s President’s Day! Can you believe that?! Well, believe it. February 13th-15th will see prices just as high as Easter and crowd levels to match it.
Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday aren’t cheap, however it’s probably one of the better bets if you need to travel around days when kids are out of school, but it’s not summer. The days surrounding it are reasonably priced compared to other fall or winter holidays. In fact, it’s actually cheaper than a weekday visit in May or June!
So to summarize, the most expensive time to travel to Walt Disney World Resort:
- Christmas and the week following
- Presidents day
